The Ticats took part in their last  practice at McMaster’s Ron Joyce Stadium on Sunday, spending two hours on the field before preparing for Tuesday’s final pre-season game against the Argonauts at Ivor Wynne Stadium.

- Offensively, a few plays by receivers stood out.  Drisan James made a great sliding grab for a 20 yard gain, Dave Stala fully extended himself to haul in a long pass and David Ball made a couple of great catches.  The first came when he out-jumped both Bo Smith and Geoff Tisdale along the sidelines and the second occurred when he caught a long Quinton Porter pass in the back of the end zone.

- On the other side of the ball, Lawrence Gordon registered an interception while Chris Thompson picked off a pass for the second straight day.

- QB Adam Tafralis and WR Prechae Rodriguez hooked up for a touchdown when the sophomore pivot hit last year’s East Division Most Outstanding Rookie on a slant route. 

- At the conclusion of Sunday’s practice, the team showed some solidarity when every player ran a lap around the field – a punishment usually reserved for those who commit penalties during practice.
