McPherson To Start At QB For Alouettes This Weekend?

According to this Canadian Press report on TSN.ca, Anthony Calvillo is expected to sit out this weekend's game at Ivor Wynne Stadium, meaning that Adrian McPherson will come off of the injured list and start at QB for the Alouettes.

Ticats Game-Worn Retro Uniform Auction

Here's your chance to bid on autographed, game-worn 1970's Retro Gear that was worn in the Ticats 1970's Retro Game on Saturday, August 7th, 2010 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

This auction will feature autographed game-worn jerseys and helmets, game-used footballs, autographed alumni jerseys and more. Bidding on these items begins on Friday, September 3rd and will run until Monday, September 13th. Each item will have a staggered close beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Labour Day Sold Out

Ivor Wynne Stadium will be packed on Monday, as the Labour Day Classic is officially sold out.

Local philanthropist Chris Ecklund purchased the last remaining tickets for Monday's game.  Mr. Ecklund will be distributing the tickets today at 6pm at Olympic Park (Mohawk Road West and Scenic Drive) at the renaming ceremony, in which Olympic Park will be named in honour of Private Mark Anthony Graham RCR.

Private Anthony was slain four years ago tomorrow while serving his country in Afghanistan.
