Appearances
General Information
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all those who have supported us both on and off the field. In conjunction with our community efforts the Tiger-Cat players, cheerleaders, mascots and staff are available for a variety of community and corporate appearances in Hamilton and the surrounding area.
Appearances range in nature from guest speaking at corporate events to reading to kids at a local school and generally last from one to two hours. One-hour appearances are preferred. Paid promotional appearances can vary in length with most scheduled no more than two hours.
Criteria
We highly recommend that appearances are used as an enhancement/incentive of an event and not viewed as an event itself. Preference is given to events that include:
- Direct interaction with kids
- Speaking roles for Tiger-Cats coaches and executives
- Clear role for the player in the event (read books, hand out awards)
- Publicity opportunities

Availability
During the CFL season players are available for a limited time prior to practice times, post practice times and players off-days. Players are typically not available on game days and the day before and after a game. Most appearances occur inside the Hamilton region, however should an appearance request be outside the Hamilton area accommodations and/or travel arrangements should be taken care of by the event organizer.
Promoting Player Appearances
Use of Tiger-Cats name, logos and trademarks and/or any advertising that implies the support or sponsorship of an event by the Ticats, or the CFL must be approved in writing by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Before promoting a Ticats player appearance, please check with the Community Relations Department for acceptable practices. Use of Ticats logos are generally not allowed. This policy pertains to all forms of advertising, including all print, television and radio promotion.
