Career

2009: Started 17 games during his fourth season as a Tiger-Cat…was on the four-man inactive list for the first game of the season…also started at right guard in the Ticats Eastern Semi-Final loss to B.C.

2008: Started 17 games during his third season in Hamilton…missed one game due to injury. 

2007: Played in nine games, starting five in his second season with the Ticats…spent the first nine weeks of the season on the injured list

2006: Played in 14 games before suffering a season-ending injury on September 16 ... Was the Ticats nominee for the CFL Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman Award

2005: Started all 18 games during his fourth season in Ottawa…saw action at centre, guard and tackle

2004: Started all 17 games he appeared in with Ottawa at centre...missed the Week 12 contest against the B.C. Lions in September due to a back injury…was named to the CFLPA All-Star team.

2003: Played in 17 games during the regular season, making 15 starts at centre and two at left tackle…was Ottawa’s nominee for the CFL Most Outstanding Lineman award.

2002: The Ottawa Renegades selected Hudson on January 17 in phase one of the 2002 CFL expansion draft…played in 15 games during the regular season…injured during the Aug. 30 game vs. BC and missed the next three games... started at center in final two games of the season.

2001: Played in all 18 games with one start during his second season with the Eskimos…had initially signed with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers on February 15…was allocated by Carolina to the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe…failed his physical and was released on March 22…was released by the Panthers on April 5.

2000: The Edmonton Eskimos selected the product of New Mexico State in the third round (17th overall) of the 2000 Canadian College Draft…signed with the Eskimos on September 13 following his release from the Dallas Cowboys…played in five games with one start during his rookie season…made one defensive tackle…made his CFL debut in the Eskimos 26-14 loss at B.C. on September 16…started the first game of his CFL career on November 3 in Edmonton’s 30-18 loss at Winnipeg…initially signed as an un-drafted free-agent with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys on April 28…attended the Cowboys training camp and was released on August 28.

College

Played three seasons (1996-1999) at New Mexico State...as a junior, contributed to the New Mexico offence which totaled 5,084 yards, second all-time in school history....in 1998, earned All-Big West Conference honourable mention.

Personal

Born November 10, 1976 in St. Catharines, Ontario…George currently lives in his hometown of St. Catharines…once worked in New Mexico during the off-season as a "repo man"...played offensive and defensive line for Beamsville District Secondary in Beamsville, ON (between Hamilton and St. Catharines in the Niagara Peninsula)...voted a team captain for the 1994 and 1995 seasons.
